In the following year the Mini Cooper ‘S’ type was launched.
In 1972 Mini boasted a range of five fabulous Minis.
In 1987 Mini launched the special edition ‘Park Lane’.
The following year Mini continued its run of special editions with the launch of the Mini Red Hot and Mini Jet Black. 
In 1995 readers of UK based Autocar Magazine voted the Mini ‘Car of the Century’.
In 1996 Mini launched a Mini Cooper 35 special edition, celebrating the 35 years of Mini Cooper.
